Rep. J.R. Claeys (R-Salina) accepted a position with the Trump Victory campaign as a Regional Field Director, supporting field operations in swing states in the region.

“I’m looking forward to building grassroots operations in battleground states to lead President Trump to victory in November,” said Claeys. “The president is leading a second economic resurgence, providing opportunity to every American to succeed.”

The Trump Victory campaign is a joint fundraising and grassroots effort of the Trump Campaign, the Republican National Committee, and 11 state parties. Trump Victory organizes volunteers for direct voter contact for President Trump.

“President Trump created the greatest economy in the world by getting government out of the way,” said Claeys. “He cut regulations, invested in job creators, and he’ll do it all again.”

Claeys is currently running for Kansas State Senate District 24, serving Saline and Dickinson counties, including the cities of Salina and Abilene. Claeys was first elected to the Kansas House of Representatives in 2012. He is an elected delegate to the 2020 Republican National Convention.
